Notes about today’s activity
The speakers may talk about many things. You should focus on how they talk about data in your analysis.
We are describing discourse today, not evaluating it. It may be tempting to move your discussions to value judgments about the correctness of the claims, the ethics of the claims, or more generally which aspects of the speech you agree with. …but this is not the goal today. The goal is to characterize the language that people use to talk about data.
